800 Series Dual Fuel Freestanding Range 36" Black Stainless Steel

The top 6 gas burners are amazing. Unfortunately I went to use electric oven for the first time and it will not work

We invested in an entirely new & expanded kitchen, and the Bosch 800 Industrial Range replaced our old built in dual oven and gas cooktop units. This unit is very attractive, and the description of "Industrial" is accurate due to the styling. We installed our unit in an island, so it truly is "freestanding', and looks fantastic. This range looks comparable in design, size & quality to units that cost substantially more. It is very sturdy and performs well, with substantial burner grates that are sized to make them easy to handle & clean, having nice rubber feet to keep them from scratching the top surface of the stove. The stove-top burners are sealed well to make them a breeze to keep clean as well. The height of the legs and underneath clearance allows for ease of cleaning under the unit, where this style of freestanding range usually makes for a gathering place for debris. The clock & timer functions could be a little more intuitive & user friendly (re-setting the clock & cancelling the timer is a pain), but overall we are very happy we chose this unit. We purchased the 5 year extended coverage based on complaints we have seen, even though we are aware those can be an unfair indicator of issues. Time will tell - so far, we are really happy and believe it was a great choice, at a reasonable price!

When the unit works, it works well. Looks nice in our kitchen. Almost exactly a year after we purchased the oven, it stopped working. Selecting the convection bake setting causes the oven display to flash and reset completely. Selecting bake with any temperature will not heat up the oven and the display will indicate that the oven is fully heated, so it does not heat at all. This is apparently a common problem with the oven, yet we're expected to pay to fix it.

We ordered this stove 3/1/21. Use the oven 4 times and now the baking options will not heat. This was 1 of 3 new appliances we orderd. All three have had issues. We are now waiting for repair and have no oven during the holidays. This stove cost $4500. Very unhappy.,

We've had this range installed for 3 months for one month, the oven has been unusuable due to a bad igniter. We're waiting on a replacement part and they're supposedly backordered from Bosch. The oven window is also very quick to get dirty. It's frustrating to have a new appliance that breaks so quickly.
