Reading reviews about this range because we received the dreaded F8E0 code and the oven will not operate. This is a common problem with this model and should be repaired by Whirlpool since it is a manufacturing problem. Four days before Thanksgiving and no oven. Thanks Whirlpool!

Oven Fan seems to be a known issue. Why no recall?

We've had this stove since April 2017, but have had numerous issues with the fan. Usually waiting, disconnecting the breaker, etc. would fix it. Now it's absolutely kaput, and I've just paid $450 to have it repaired! The repairman told me that this is a KNOWN issue with this unit...pretty sad when the repair company knew the problem over the phone just from the model number.

Nice oven when it worked

Only 3 yrs old and already having issues. Lovely "cooling fan speed too low" error now. $1100 ovens shouldn't die this quick, nor cost $400-500 to fix

Danger

I have had Whirlpool ovens in six new houses over the past 70 years. Our current oven is a WEE730H0DS0, installed just 2 years ago. We are retirees with light oven use. One day, after a full day of use, this oven turned on by itself in the middle of the night. A warning alarm from the oven (three beeps) woke me up and the oven was at full throttle. A code was showing on the oven screen (F8E0 Cooling fan speed too low). The Whirlpool serviceman said it was a main control board and the cost to replace the board, service calls and parts, was almost as much as buying a new oven. We reset the oven and it has worked fine since, but we always unplug it when not in use, which is very inconvenient. We have read about other incidents identical to ours on the WEB. This anomaly is clearly a danger to the public and should be investigated by Whirlpool
