FYI... BUYERS Beware, ordered this hood to match the other 5 kitchenaid appliances we installed into our remodeled kitchen. The others went smooth for the most part outside of having to wait for our 3rd dishwasher due to receiving damaged good.... The hood came missing two screws and she I call kitchenaid they were of no help.... needless to say I’m regretting my decision at this point to even go with kitchen aid. Sad sad customer service all because I bought my appliances through Home Depot.

I bought this hood last year, I still have LED light problem.. frist no technician and finally after months, technician came out and said he has no idea how to fix the LED Light which it stays on and he never return. It’s so much hassle to just call coustomer service. I called at least 30 times with different person that I have to explain same thing over, how exhausting! I’ll never buy kitchenaid product again.

Hood is amazing! There is not one cooking odor that escapes into my kitchen or any other part of my house. Frying onions is no challenge for this hood. Absolutely no onion smell in the house. I would highly recommend this hood.

My builder has installed this along with the rest of my Black Stainless Kitchen-Aid Kitchen. The problem here is the Lower unit with the lights and fan does not match the upper hood section. The bottom is SEMI-GLOSS BLACK and the hood is STAINLESS BLACK. After THREE orders to rectify, all are the same. A Kitchen Aid Rep tells us there is an Internal problem that will not be solved until August 2018!!!! What a bunch of junk. If you advertise BLACK STAINLESS then have a matching set! So now I have a lower section installed with no upper section...looks like junk in my high end kitchen.
