Accepting your delivery - how to protect yourself. Before you sign for your appliances!
Every package is insured to guarantee you receive your purchase in perfect condition.
Please look over all new deliveries prior to signing for the merchandise. Any inconsistencies,
irregularities, or damage must be noted in writing on the bill of lading. After
you sign for the merchandise you are responsible for filing all claims with the
shipper.

To help make your delivery go as smoothly as possible, we offer these helpful tips:
1. Make sure there is someone at your home to receive the item:
We deliver from 8:00 A.M. until the delivery schedule is completed. We call the
night before and will give you a three hour delivery window. These are just an estimate
and are given as a courtesy and cannot be guaranteed. There will be a $25 re-delivery
fee if no one is home at the time of delivery. An adult, at least 18 years of age,
must be home to sign for the item. Delivery address cannot be changed in-route.
We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
2. Make a clear, level and unobstructed path to where you want your appliance
delivered:
Snow, ice or excessive mud may prohibit delivery. In the rare instance your house
is not accessible by a delivery truck (and customer pick-up cannot be arranged)
you will be billed on your credit card for the delivery charges back to Snow Bros.,
plus a 25% restocking fee.
3. Measure, Measure, Measure:
When ordering larger than normal items, please make sure they will fit through all
openings. Be sure to take into account how much space your doors take from the opening.
It is your responsibility to ensure the appliance can be delivered to the place
you have chosen. Additional charges may apply for non-compliance.
4. Delivery & Installation:
Refrigerators:
Refrigerators are leveled with the legs provided by the manufacturer. A three prong
grounded outlet is needed for proper installation, units that have an automatic
ice and water dispenser or an icemaker will need to have an existing water line
for our drivers to be able to hook up. Water lines cannot be installed by our drivers
nor can anti-tip devices, these are the customer’s responsibility. We will switch
to left hand door at no charge if notified in advance of delivery. Make sure there
is enough space for the door to open fully.
Electric and Gas Ranges:
Three or four wire 220 volt/40 amp receptacle is required for an electric range. We supply at no charge a 40 amp range cord. Direct wire connections are not done by our drivers. On all gas ranges a separate gas shut off valve is required. We supply at no charge a stainless steel gas connector. Anti-tip devices are not installed by our drivers and are the customers responsibility. All ovens should be ran for at least 30 minutes at 350 degrees before the first use.
Electric and Gas Dryers:
Three or four wire 220 volt /30 amp receptacle is required for an electric dryer.
We supply at no charge a 30 amp dryer cord. Direct wire connections are not done
by our drivers. Three prong grounded outlet and separate gas shut off valve is required
for gas dryer. Gas connector is supplied at no charge, four inch dryer vent is part
of your house and is not supplied by the manufacturer. Any venting we do is temporary
and not guaranteed, we will not use vinyl venting as manufacturer’s recommend aluminum
vent.
Washing Machines:
We install washing machines with water hoses typically four feet in length, and
drain hoses that are provided by the manufacturer, three prong grounded outlet is
needed.
Built-In Appliances:
Snow Brothers does not install built-in appliances. Installation is the responsibility
of the customer, remodeler, builder or installation company. We will drop off units
where the customer specifies. Units will be left in the carton to prevent damage
to both the unit and your floor. Due to the size and weight of built-in refrigerators,
there must be a paved driveway, sidewalk or walkway for our drivers to be able to
maneuver the unit properly.
Televisions:
We will put the unit in place and attach existing cables or antenna wires. Any special
hook-ups(DVD players, stereos, cable boxes etc.) are the responsibility of the customer.
During winter months televisions are too cold to turn on upon delivery, please allow
unit to warm up to room temperature before turning on. A two prong grounded outlet
is needed for television hook-up.

Delivery Schedule:
Due to strong manufacturer availability of all the appliances we carry, we do not
stock everything we sell. The majority of our vendors will deliver to us in three
to four days. This allows us to maintain low overhead and operational costs to offer
you the best price and service possible. On rare occurrences, items may be backordered
or delayed, and we will immediately notify you and offer you the opportunity to
cancel your order at no charge.
The only exception to this rule is SPECIAL ORDERS:. All non stock
items are considered SPECIAL ORDER and require: a 33% non-refundable
deposit. There are no returns on SPECIAL ORDERS:. All orders dated
out more than 90 days require a 50% deposit. These items generally take a little
longer for delivery. We will always keep you informed about your order.

Damages, Returns & Exchanges:
Delivered product should be opened and inspected completely. All damage claims need
to be reported within 7 days of delivery. All canceled orders are subject to a 20%
restocking fee and a $25 re-delivery fee. All refunds take 7-14 days from the time
the return is processed. If you paid by credit card, your refund will be credited
to your charge account, all other refunds will be paid by check.
